The book Traditional Festivals of Nagaland is the outcome of a joint research project initiated by the Department of Art and Culture, Government of Nagaland and Anthropological Society of Nagaland from 2007-2008. The present volume documents the traditional annual festivals observed by four major tribes of the Nagas Viz. Angami, Ao, Chakesang and Rengma. Through the festivals and their associated rituals and performance the cultural values of observing tribes and construed. The book caters to both the general and the scholarly readers who are interested to know about Naga people and their tradition.
